Types of funeral gatherings
Some families want to keep things simple. Others want something more celebratory. It’s completely up to you. Receptions can be held at a private home, one of our function rooms, a community hall, or even a favourite local pub or club. We’ll help arrange catering, venue hire and any equipment or staff needed.
Food, drinks and little details
We can help organise food and refreshments, whether it’s a few platters or a fully catered event. Some families include photo boards, memory books or music at the reception. Whatever makes it feel right, we’ll help bring it together.
Often, yes. Many of our locations have on-site function rooms, or we can help find a venue nearby.
Not unless you want to. We can arrange catering on your behalf and accommodate dietary needs.
Community centres, RSLs and local cafés or clubs can all be good, relaxed options. We can suggest venues based on your location and style.
Yes. We can help set up AV equipment or liaise with the venue to make sure it’s ready.
Most last 1–3 hours, but it’s entirely up to you. People may come and go, depending on how they're feeling after the service.
