We believe in giving back to the communities we serve.
Since 1939, Blackwell Funerals has supported local organisations, community groups and families across Adelaide. From long-standing partnerships to community events and remembrance services, our focus has always been on showing up for our community when it matters most.
All Souls’ Day is a day of prayer for lost loved ones. Blackwell Funerals has proudly supported All Souls’ Day for many years, hosting an annual liturgy and blessing service where Adelaide families can come together in remembrance and reflection.
We’re proud to honour the customs and traditions of the many cultures that call Adelaide home. Over the years, our Adelaide funeral directors have built trusted relationships with Italian, Greek, Jewish, Baha’i and other faith communities across the city and South Australia.
We were treated with kindness, empathy and patience.
The staff were professional and guided us through the process of organising a funeral with ease, understanding and respecting our wishes throughout the process. We are truly grateful to Yvette for her respect and attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble. Blackwells Payneham went above and beyond and we cannot thank them enough in helping us celebrate our father’s life.

Everything was handled with respect and made us very comfortable.
I was very happy with the way everything was handled from picking up the body to the funeral parlor. They explained everything and were very understanding. They made my other son comfortable after finding his brother when he passed away. Thank you.
